Who We Are
Every decision we make is shaped by a clear sense of purpose. Our journey has been anything but ordinary. Through every step, we've focused on staying true to our values and making space for thoughtful, lasting work.
We believe in simple ideas, strong relationships, and lasting impact. What began as a passion project has evolved into something more. We’re proud of where we’ve been and even more excited for what’s ahead.

Clark Shimeall
Clark is an outdoor educator, backcountry guide, and reluctant nonprofit bureaucrat. Growing up in a family of former guides and wilderness therapists on the west side of the Cascades, he first came to know the Columbia Plateau country intimately through his work as a river guide.. He has significant educational experience working with BIPOC youth in both traditional and experiental settings. He loves history, culture, ecology and getting to know landscapes, ideally kinesthetically via foot and hand, kayak, or paraglider. He spends most of his seasons in wal’wama (Wallowa County, OR) and his winters in Latin America, brushing up his Spanish (one of many of our national languages here in the states) and getting sunlight on his skin.
